To create this advert, I used a DSLR camera to take a picture of my eye. I then took separate pictures of the Maybelline mascara. On Photoshop, I selected the mascara and removed the background of the rest of the image and layered the product over the photo of my eye. I also used the cloning tool to enhance my eyelashes and make them seem more full. Many brands would have to alter their images in order to compete with the other products in the same industry as there is constant battle between brands to lure audiences to buy their product. The target audience for this product is people with blue eyes as the burgundy colour compliments the blue colour, it is also for people who like to be bold and challenge the norm. Burgundy mascara stands out and is brighter than the standard black mascara so people who are going to buy this product like to see the fun in life.
